Morrison Was Not Pressurized

Recently, a news report revealed that Ravel Morrison was invited to meet Mark Curtis (football agent) and was pressurized by Sam Allardyce (manager of West Ham) to accept the courteous offer of becoming Curtis’s client. The same report claimed that because of the pressure from Allardyce, Morrison had planned to leave the English football club- West Ham in summer. Morrison has become very disappointed with the club as well, suggested the report.

When Sam Allardyce got to know about the report, he denied it outright and said that Ravel Morrison had a bright future ahead of him with the West Ham club. Allardyce claims that no bitterness has cropped up between West Ham and Morrison in relation to the football agents. According to him, the representatives of Morrison might have made the allegations or rumors. But he is adamant about the fact that he did not sit beside Morrison and pressurize him into signing anything with any football agent.

Mark Curtis (agent) having links with Andy Carroll, James Tomkins, Sam Allardyce, Jack Collison, Adrian, Jussi Jaaskelanian, Nolan etc also dismissed the rumors related to Ravel Morrison as nonsense.

Currently, Morrison is playing on loan for Queens Park Rangers. On 22nd February, 2014 Ravel Morrison will play for QPR in a match against the Charlton Athletic because he has recovered from his groin injury. In the past, Sam Allardyce also mentioned that Morrison was not representing West Ham because of the groin injury only.

Ravel Morrison’s performance with West Ham has been extremely impressive and there was a high possibility that he would be a part of the World Cup 2014 squad that will be created by Roy Hodgson. But now it seems that Morrison will not get this ultimate chance.

Morrison’s contract with West Ham will expire next summer and he might not agree for an extension.
