BACK TO HISBEST

The former Manchester United striker Ravel Morrison was one of the standout players for West Ham in the pre-season friendly match against Boreham Wood. It was a disappointing result for the West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce, who saw his side manage only a draw against the lower league opposition. However, he would have been extremely happy at the workout his players got in the match, which is far more important in a pre-season friendly than the result. Sam Allardyce has managed to get West Ham back into the Premier league after just one season. So far, the club has signed seven players in the transfer window, as they look to remain in the Premier league.

The former Manchester United striker Ravel Morrison, who was once described as the greatest talent the club has seen since the days of Paul Scholes, has also recently signed for the club on a free transfer after his contract with Manchester United came to an end. He was one of the players on the pitch for West Ham United, as Sam Allardyce decided to use two different teams in either half. The team’s had a mixture of youth and experience and is likely to be the template in the Premier league season.

“I think he is an exciting sort of player, especially when we have got the ball. He can play that final pass and drive on with the ball, which is certainly what you need in the Premiership. It was a good workout for him, another 45 minutes under his belt after 90 against Austria Vienna, so that is a good week for him and he has got to know the other players a little better,” said the assistant manager of the club after seeing the performance of the former Manchester United youngster Ravel Morrison.
