Ravel Morrison

Ravel Morrison wont stay in England

It seems Ravel Morrison is not going to stay in England any more. The youngster, who is a product of the Manchester United Academy, is all set to pen down a deal with one of the top flight Italian clubs i.e. Lazio.

The previous weekend, Morrison was seen in Italy and according to the reports, he was there for having the medical test which is mandatory before the finalisation of a player’s contract in professional soccer.

The medical is believed to have gone alright and it’s just a matter of a few formalities before Morrison officially makes his way to Stadio Olimpico.

Morrison has earned the praise of many reputed managers in the past for the natural talent that he has, but, he has had quite an erratic career till date.

He has proved his credential as a midfielder, but, the consistency, that a player like him should have shown, has not been there.

However, one cannot be too harsh on him given the fact that his age is only 21 at the moment.

In the recent years, Morrison has actually been spoken about more for his off pitch acts. He hasn’t quite found the balance in his life and that’s why, he has been slammed by the critics regularly.

It has often been said that he is one of those players who are just wasting the potential that they have got.

Going to Italy might help Morrison in terms of getting matured a little bit. He must stay away from controversies if he has to become the player that he is capable of becoming.

Morrison has so far featured in 81 games for various clubs at senior level and has scored 14 goals.

He has played for England U-21 side as well.
